3.18 Leiomyomatous polyp from the uterus

• A polyp arising from the cavity of the uterus protrudes through the internal os and extends in the canal.
• It is a smooth polyp with a whorled cut surface.
• The polyp seems to have caused pressure over the cervix causing an imprint.
