All Suppliers/ Contractors/ Service Providers are commonly referred to as “Suppliers” under this registration process.
Applicants must provide accurate and up-to-date information.
Incomplete or illegible applications will be rejected.
All supporting documents must be uploaded with the application.
If any inaccuracies are found, the application may be disqualified.
Required Documents
Mandatory Documents:
For Limited Liability Company: Certified copy of the Certificate of Incorporation.
For Partnership: Certified copy of the Business Registration.
For Proprietorship:
Certified copy of Business Registration
Certified copy of NIC/ Passport/ Driver’s License
VAT Registration or Exemption Certificate valid as of 01.01.2025.
Copy of Bank Statement showing clear information.
Cash Deposit Slip or Shroff’s Receipt for Non-Refundable Fee payment.

Non-Refundable Fee
LKR 1,000.00 per Main Category.
Example:
If registering for multiple subcategories (e.g., 1.1, 1.2), only LKR 1,000.00 is required for the Main Category.
If registering for multiple Main Categories (e.g., 1, 2, 3), LKR 3,000.00 must be paid.

Cash Deposit Slip/ Shroff’s Receipt must be uploaded with the application.
Cheques drawn in favour of the University of Kelaniya or Money Orders WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
Important Notes
Suppliers registered in 2024 must reapply for 2025.
Applicants must have at least 3 years of experience in the relevant category.
Credit facility of at least 1 month must be agreed upon.
Provide a valid email address for communication.
University reserves the right to make inquiries and award projects to non-registered Suppliers.
Suppliers failing to submit quotations or meet requirements may be removed from the register.
Any changes to the Mailing Address of a Company/Institute after registration will only be considered if the request is submitted along with a certified copy of the amended Certificate issued by the respective authority.
Once registered, no changes or alterations to the selected Main Categories or Sub-Categories will be permitted under any circumstances.
The University of Kelaniya will not be held responsible for any mistakes or oversight of the Applicant or any cost borne by the Supplier.

If only one option is allowed, Choose the most appropriate option that applies to the Applicant.
For sections that do not apply to the Applicant, clearly write "N/A" (Not Applicable) in the respective fields.
