- 67 years old male with hypertension.
- This is an enlarged kidney opened longitudinally.
- The surface shows some lobulations and depressions; the latter could be due to scarring.
- There is blurring of cortico-medullary demarcation.
- There are minute haemorrhages mostly at the cortico-medullary junction.
- However typical flea-bitten appearance is not seen.
