H.5.12 Renal cell carcinoma
- A specimen of a kidney from a 65 years old female.
- This is an enlarged Kidney. (500g in weight)
- Normal appearing renal tissue is present at the upper part of the kidney.
- Surface of the tumour is lobular and variegated.
- There are pale white solid areas, black colour hemorrhagic areas and necrotic areas.
