H.5.1 Renal Carcinoma
- Kidney is enlarged.
- Upper pole shows lobulations over the surface.
- Blackish – yellow colour areas are noted over these lobulations most likely necrotic areas.
- Cut surface shows a circumscribed tumour with variegated and mottled appearance with solid yellowish white areas.
- There are dark, grayish black and yellowish areas showing haemorrhage and necrosis.
- Normal kidney tissue is well demarcated and is seen in the lower pole.
