- Cut surface – Cortico-medullary demarcation is not distinct.
- Fibrous streaks are seen in some areas.
- The pelvicalyceal system is dilated.
- The lining of the pelvis appears irregular and thick.
- There is a staghorn calculus seen in the upper part of the dilated renal pelvis.
