X.2.1 Keloid
- The specimen was removed from the left arm of a 10 year old male patient.
- The growth developed at the site where he received a B.C.G. vaccination.
- The specimen shows and irregular growth covered with skin.
- The specimen has been cut longitudinally cut into two pieces.
- The cut section is pale whitish in colour and has a homogeneous appearance.
- The histology showed tissue composed of dense hyalinised collagen.
