N.2.2 Soft tissue sarcoma - osteosarcoma
- The specimen shows the spleen and a large solid tumour mass.
- The tumour is a large nodular growth and on cut section appears solid with a few cystic areas.
- The spleen is normal in size and on cut section appears to be normal.
- The histological appearance was that of an osteosarcoma.
- Probably arising from one of the ribs or a soft tissue osteosarcoma
- The spleen did not show any malignant change.
