N.1.4 Osteogenic sarcoma
- Upper limb of a child showing a very large growth involving the entire thickness and length of the upper arm.
- The cut surface is pink in colour.
- Minute haemorrhagic areas are visible.
- Overlying skin in intact.
Histology: Spindle cell tumour with osteoid production confirming the diagnosis of the osteogenic sarcoma.
