I.1.5 Seminoma of the undescended testis
- A 35 year old male patient presented with right sided abdominal discomfort for 15 years and hypertension.
- A past history of undescended testis was given.
- The specimen is a grossly enlarged round tumour mass.
- It is that of an undescended testis.
- The vas deference is seen over the top of the lump.
- The lump appears smooth with a definite capsule.
- The cut surface appears like ‘a cut potato’ except at the lateral border, there appears to be haemorrhage and necrosis.
