G.1.2 Lymphoma of the spleen
- The spleen is enlarged.
- There is a pale white mass embedded in the splenic tissue.
- The center of this mass shows necrosis.
- Scattered just beneath the capsule are very fine whitish specks which may be the malpighian corpuscles.
- Differential diagnosis:
- Lymphoma
- Tuberculoma
- Gumma
- Histology confirmed a Hodgkin's lymphoma.
