R.1.7 Porcelain gall bladder
- 40 year old female presenting with recurrent acute cholecystitis, for the past 10 years.
- Non functioning gall Bladder
- The gall bladder shows a thickened wall.
- The surface of the mucosa was covered by white granular material.
- Two small, faceted stones can be seen, cream coloured, with yellow deposits.
- These were found embedded in the Hartmann’s pouch.
