  • Mucosa is congested.
  • Breaking down abscesses of about 1-2 cm in diameter is seen in the mucosa.
  • A large black stone occupies the Hartmann’s pouch.
  • Small black stone can be seen lying free.
  • Serosal surface of the gall bladder is congested.
