F.3.6 Metastatic deposits in the liver
- The patient presented with loss of appetite for 6 months and right side abdominal pain for 1 month.
- Partial hepatectomy done.
- Specimen of liver and gallbladder measuring 10 x 12 x 6 cm.
- Liver capsule is intact and grey in color.
- Smooth surface (micro-nodules).
- Gallbladder is pale and enlarged and a stone is seen.
- Haemorrhagic area present in the liver.
