F.2.3 Nodular liver

• The liver is small in size.
• The whole liver is studded with small nodules.
• In addition to that there are very large nodules.
• These are more marked on the ventral surface and in the left lobe, producing gross distortion of the naked eye appearance of the liver – Hepar lobatum.
