Q.1.4 Appendicular abscess
- The appendix is opened longitudinally.
- The serosal surface shows patches of hyperaemia from organized exudates.
- In the proximal end, there is an area of suppuration and haemorrhage.
- The lumen appears obstructed by swelling of the appendicular wall.
