P.1.19 Carcinoma of the colon
- Colon has been cut open to show a large ulcer crater, 5cm in diameter.
- It has everted edges and a sloughing base.
- The mucosal folds of the colon surrounding the ulcer have got adhered together.
- Haemorrhagic areas can be seen in some places.
