P.1.17 Carcinoma of colon
- Abdominoperineal resection (APR) specimen opened longitudinally to show a fungating and ulceration lesion in the recto- sigmoid region.
- The tumour appears to infiltrate the full thickness of the bowel wall.
- Histology confirmed a moderately differentiated adenocarcinoma of the colon infiltrating the subserosa with no lymph node involvement.
