O.1.2 Tuberculosis of the intestine or secondary deposits

  • Small intestine with attached mesentery.
  • There are whitish nodules varying in size from about 1 mm – 3 mm in diameter scattered all over the mesentery.
  • Part of the intestine has been slit open.
  • In the luminal mucosa also there are small vague nodules.
  • These nodules could be tuberculous nodules or metastatic deposits.
