J.2.8 Linitis Plastica (Diffusely infiltrative adenocarcinoma)
- Part of stomach cut longitudinally showing pyloric end.
- The rugae are broadened and thickened.
- The entire gastric wall is thickened.
- In the pyloric end, the wall is completely infiltrated with pinkish white gelatinous areas.
- The rest of the mucosa shows haemorrhagic patches.
