J.2.6 Malignant gastric ulcer
- There is an ulcer in the lesser curvature which seems to be in a thickened area of the wall.
- The ulcer is irregular with everted edges uneven floor, and has extended up to the muscle layer in depth.
- The underlying muscle and serosa is intact.
- The background gastric mucosa shows flattening of the rugae.
