J.2.4 Diffuse gastric carcinoma – Leather bottle stomach
- The wall of the whole stomach is thickened uniformly.
- The wall appears rigid and the stomach is shrunken.
- The pyloric mucosa shows a haemorrhagic area.
- There is no ulceration.
- The spleen appears unremarkable.
- Histology confirmed a signet ring cell carcinoma.
