J.2.1 Adenocarcinoma of the stomach
- This is a specimen of stomach of a 55 year old male.
- Showing grossly thickened pyloric region with narrowing of the lumen.
- The body of the stomach is also thickened.
- There is a polypoidal tumour at the antrum further obstructing the antral lumen.
- This appearance is known as "leather bottle stomach"
