E.3.2 Carcinoma of lower end of the esophagus/ gastro-oesophageal junction
- The stomach is opened into and shows a normal rugae pattern in one area.
- There is a large homogenous solid tumour infiltrating the stomach wall.
- The capsular surface of the tumour appears congested.
- This tumour had been removed from the lower end of the oesophagus.
- Histology confirmed squamous carcinoma of oesophagus.
