M.1.11 A fetus of 16 weeks inside the uterus
- A 29 old female with a POA of 16 weeks complained of abdominal pain for 6/52, backache and vomiting.
- Specimen shows a cut opened uterus with a foetus of 16 weeks gestation.
- The two ovaries are enlarged and contain multiple cysts of varying size.
- Histology revealed the cyst to be simple serous cysts lined by a single layer of cuboidal epithelium.
