K.8.9 Ruptured tubal pregnancy
- The specimens are of both fallopian tubes.
- The left fallopian tube appears to be distended by fluid with adhesion of the fimbrial end- hydrosalpinx.
- The right fallopian tube shows distension near the distal end by haemorrhagic, necrotic mass of tissue showing areas of chorionic villi.
- Perforation seems to have taken place via the lower portion.
