K.8.1 Ruptured ectopic gestation
- Uterus cut opened to show a hypertrophied myometrium and a small growth in the muscle (the specimen is mounted upside down).
- Products of conception can be seen occupying the left tube.
- Posterior aspect reveals the point of the extra uterine pregnancy and haemorrhage.
