K.7.6 Malignancy of fallopian tube

• 70 years old women complaining of watery vaginal discharge for 1 month.
• The specimen is that of the uterus with cervix, both fallopian tubes and ovaries.
• The uterus is atrophic and cut section appears normal.
• The right fallopian tube and the right ovary appear to be normal.
• The left fallopian tube specially the fimbrial end is seen to be replaced by an ulcerating, pale white growth.
• The ulcerated tumour tissue appears to show papillae in places.
