K.6.2 Malignant melanoma of vulva with secondaries
- Specimen of vulva and bilateral inguinal block dissection from a 44 years old female, chemotherapy had been given 2 months back.
- Specimen of vulva with inguinal connective tissue.
- On the left labium majus there is a well defined solid growth which is pale in colour.
- One the left side just outer to the labium majus is a solid looking mass about 2 cm in diameter, with a smooth surface which has patchy areas of brownish discoloration.
- Histology confirmed the clinical diagnosis of the mass at the end of the vulva as being a malignant melanoma.
