K.5.4 Carcinoma of the cervix
- Outer surface together with ovary and tube appear normal.
- Uterine wall is thickened and the lumen was filled with blood.
- Lower part of the lumen has been obliterated by the thickening of the wall.
- There is a fairly well circumscribed pale mass of tissue containing areas of haemorrhage in the cervical canal.
- This mass ends at the external cervical os.
- Histology from the uterus and cervix showed a well differentiated invasive squamous carcinoma.
