K.3.4 Leiomyoma polyp of the uterus protruding out from the cervix
- 45 years old women presented with menorrhagia and dysmenorrhoea for 6 months.
- Specimen shows uterus, cervix, one fallopian tube and ovary.
- Uterus shows a polyp protruding out from the cervical canal.
- There is an area of necrosis at the stalk.
- The cervix appears to be cupped in to accommodate the protruding polyp.
- Histology conformed a Leiomyomatous polyp.
