K.2.1 Metastatic endometrial carcinoma
- Cut open to show the enlarged uterus.
- A fungating tumour occupying the cavity.
- There are haemorrhagic areas towards the periphery of the tumour.
- Necrotic areas are seen especially in the center.
- Both ovaries are attached to the tubes and form tubo ovarian masses on either side of the uterus.
- They also show haemorrhagic areas.
- Histology showed endometrial Adenocarcinoma with secondary deposits in ovaries and tubes.
