K.1.28 Ovarian carcinoma

• Specimen contains uterus, omentum and both ovaries.
• Grossly thickened omentum shows whitish and haemorrhagic areas.
• Solid and cystic area seen in both ovaries.
• Uterus is of normal in size.
• Histology showed poorly differentiated adenocarcinoma, probably arising from the ovary with metastases to the omentum.
