K.1.11 Ovarian tumour

• A well encapsulated tumour weighing 1.5kg and 6x3.5 inches in dimension.
• Outer surface appears smooth and has subcapsular haemorrhages.
• Cut surface has a large cystic cavity with smooth looking lining.
• The rest of the tumour tissue is made up of solid areas with minute cysts.
• Histology confirmed a Dysgerminoma
