V.2.2 Chronic autoimmune thyroiditis

• A 46 years old woman with a lump in thyroid for 1 year duration.
• The lobectomy specimen shows a well defined, capsulated lesion with haemorrhagic & necrotic areas.
• Colloid filled areas are seen.
• Microscopy showed auto immune thyroiditis.
