V.1.1 Multinodular goitre
- The specimen contains thyroid gland tongue, epiglottis and part of oesophagus.
- Both lobes of the thyroid gland are enlarged, the right gland more so.
- Both lobes have a large number of nodules of varying sizes.
- The left gland is haemorrhagic, probably a postmortem change.
