S.1.3 Malignant adrenal cortical tumour
- This was a tumour situated above the superior pole of the left kidney.
- The specimen shows a large pale oval growth.
- The cut surface shows a nodular appearance and is tan to pale yellowish in colour.
- Small haemorrhagic areas (black colour areas) are present towards the center of the tumour.
- Histology of this tumour was compatible with a malignant adrenal cortical tumour.
