- Longitudinally cut lung tissue shows whitish solid looking area almost completely involving the lung tissue.
- Cross section of the airways and blood vessels seen in the tissue.
- Small areas of normal looking lung tissue are seen in the upper rim of the larger portion of lung.
- Overlying pleura appears normal.
- Histology showed a primary carcinoma of lung – mucin secreting type.
