- Shows the left heart and the aorta and a small portion of right atrium.
- The left atrium appears thinned out. 2-3 patches of ulcer like areas are seen on the atrial wall.
- The left ventricle is mildly hypertrophied and enlarged.
- Minute streaks of fibrosis is seen in the mitral valve cusps.
- Aortic valve cusps appear normal.
- The portion of the aorta shows streaks of atheromatous plaques.
